There are now in force Patent(s) as we work to continue improving the technology. 3,296,143  3,424,688  4,789,407  5,068,017  5,342,493  5,445,719  11,325,168

This is important. The following gets technical, and a lot of plumbers do not like technical, so we try talking to the people that like to avoid legal trouble due to lack of maintenance properly completed,  and consumers that care about their families, because these people are often intelligent, absorb what they read and do the right thing to help make sure others are safe. Noting here is expressly approved by the manufacturer(s).  I am writing this as part of the group, just to try to help my life's goal, your safety.  Other products are full of water, they look cheap, don't be fooled. Tri-Bros has a habit of food grade, not technical cheaper grade and you add the water, so the Mag-Erad Water Heater Cleaner is active, the water you add causes it to ionize therefore form the needed hydronium ions H3O+ and the conjugate base is also non-toxic. The Mag-Erad is not a food product but it is made from food product grade ingredients to help assure your safest experience. Yes, after using the product, mud and muck that settled in the pipes may come out of the faucets, and there is a way to pipe the system with a return line where you can flush the piping with water.  A Plumbing Company I consult for now asks their customers to do the specific design, and when the pipe follow up is done after the water heater maintenance, people are amazed at what was settled out in the piping. I won something important.  The Alaska Supreme Court made a ruling after a case where lack of no maintenance, and it was certainly not PROPER maintenance caused a boiler to explode when it overheated because it was used and used and not maintained.  I got a lot of National codes changed, first they would not listen until they did and the vote went from 0 for and 25 against to 25 for and 0 against, and there was even a separate book for Pressure relief Devices published.  During the Mag-Erad Maintenance, the instructions say remove and inspect, and if there is any doubt, any, replace the TEMPERATURE and Pressure Relief Valve.  NOTE: You must use the CSA Rating for Potable systems, and some manufacturers do not yet have storage tanks for commercial use designed for CSA larger Pressure and Temperature Relief Valves of a large enough size.  It works like this. The CSA Rating clears the water fast enough to not overheat at the 20 - 80 pounds of potable systems.  The other Rating NB/ASME is tested to work at the 150 pounds or 125 pounds the working pressure of the tank is set at, which means the water can hit 359 degrees. When water flashes to steam it expands 1600 times. You do not want that. The CSA Rating makes the tests to keep the water at 210 degrees F. or below  even if the water is only 20 pounds pressure. These valves are larger and relieve the water when they are properly maintained. If the Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve(s) are not properly installed sized, maintained, the only safety that assures the water does not get into superheat is gone. Boilers and other heated vessels have no safety interlock with these safety devices. So if they are broke, the heat still comes on, and if there is a runaway firing condition, you have no safety unless you do the maintenance. The secret is the standard is written that the probes are allowed to corrode off, equal to cheap yellow brass, just 60% copper. If the probe falls off, and I have dozens with no probes I have replaced, the water could hot 359 degrees Fahrenheit, instead of opening at below boiling. Do not ever listen to someone that says if it is not broke don't fix it. That is a bit of advice that can be dangerous. Even the Relief Valve Manufacturers now put instructions on their packages to remove and inspect the waterside, not just a lever flip. The only way to know the condition of the probe and if there are blockages is visual waterside. It is not what the news media chooses to leave out of reporting, it is what actually occurs and those are buried in figures too deep to find easily. There are several actions you can take to enhance the tank protection from corrosion, there are things you should know about some information regarding choosing the type of hot water unit that would be the best choice, not one that can generate 4 tons of greenhouse gas a year or more in a house. Note, we do not say greenhouse gasses are bad or good or neutral, we just point out there are calculations where a 50 gallon or a 75 gallon tank type can give an hour or more shower with the correct shower head choice. Doing the correct maintenance, a tank type is compatible with all the new energy capture devices and can last 25 to 40 years. We have a State Supreme Court Ruling that seems to be very clear liability is on the people that do not follow the right procedures. I got the codes changed to which this ruling is based. Perhaps you finally found a corner of the Internet where there is a bit of truth. Now it is up to you to decide how safe is the building you are using as a home or workplace or recreation, shopping or other reason to be around pressure vessels and heated pressure vessels. This could go on for an entire book, so don't use this short site as your only guidance. This will though help you figure out who is in your corner.

There are now 7 United States Patents associated with All Names Trademarked Mag-Erad Bor-Coil  Un-Lime. Un-Lime is a Trademark of A. O. Smith Corporation. Lime Eater is a Tri-Bros. Chemical Corp. Trademark as is the Bor-Coil and Mag-Erad.  My fifth United States Patent was just granted and it means a lot for these ultra concentrated products, they are powerhouses yet do not kill bees, are not toxic, contain food grade highest quality available Kosher and Hallel ingredients.

There are now directions to use the Mag-Erad as a general Humidifier cleaner, TBC gives the amount of concentrate to use, the humidifier companies can tell you their procedures.  Here is the best part.  At the present prices, to make 32 ounces of powerful cleaner, just use 1/12th of the 2 pound container.  it comes out to about 3 dollars to clean a humidifier and if you need 64 ounces of liquid, so use 1/12th twice, or 1/6 of the 2 pound container or 1/3 of a pound to make a half gallon of 115' F cleaner for humidifiers.  So Trademarked Mag-Erad Water Heater Cleaner can be used on a lot of things and with the new Patented Formula, it is powerful yet pure food grade and ultra concentrated.
